AF1002 Group 3 Times & Nonsense.

English is not just a language, it has already became a common language among people from different races and different countries. English is such a powerful tool, widely used for almost every single occassion you can name.

The power of English language?

The status of English as the global language seems likely to prop up U.S. power
for some time to come. "Half the world's people are projected to be speaking
English by 2015."

"English is a first language for 400 million people, and a fluent second for between
300 and 500 million more,"

Even China's government is making an effort to ensure that its citizens are always learning, and in this case - English language.
BEIJING -- Authorities in Beijing plan to make most residents -- from hairdressers to policemen -- learn English under a drive to convert the Chinese capital into a "world city"
English has become a compulsory thing in finding a job, in communicating, in writing. "Every civil servant under the age of 40 with a bachelor's degree will also be required to master a minimum of 1,000 English sentences". Time to face reality, we are all unknowinly and unwillingly embarking on a journey to graciously accepting English language as the most important language ever. Don't believe? You've got no choice, it has already became a written fact, and in fact - proven.

"Ahead of the 2008 Olympics, about 5.5 million residents of the Chinese capital were
taught a number of sentences for basic conversations in English"

We should all use China as an example. They may be the biggest chinese speaking population in the world, however, the government were determined not to let English take them down - Since most of the time when they speak, we most probably cannot catch what they're saying.

"The government program -- first launched in 2002 in preparation for the Beijing Olympics
and recently renewed -- calls for all kindergartens in the city to introduce English courses
within five years". Chinese has this saying "It is never too late to start learning something new". China has just displayed this virtue and people all over the world should start doing so, because you do not want to fall out of pace in this society.
