On the whole, this entire blogging experience has been a wonderful, unforgettable and meaningful experience to me. Blogging for the past fifteen weeks has certainly changed my perception towards certain things and helped me to gain more knowledge on the interesting things that are currently happening in the vast world. Due to a lack of interest towards current affairs, it has always been a chore for me to read the newspapers or online news. However, throughout these fifteen weeks, it was made compulsory for us to read the online articles that were assigned to us each week as this was a graded assignment. It was expected of us to take our own initiative to source for more online articles to expand on the given topic. This has developed me to develop an interest towards current affairs and I will continue reading up news daily, even after this blogging assignment has ended. Reading the blog entries posted by my fellow classmates has definitely widened my vocabulary to a certain extent. In addition, it is amazing to know that some of my classmates have very interesting views and perceptions that are totally different from mine. This enabled me to ponder more deeply over the topic. Although I had owned a personal blog for two years now, blogging here gives me a totally different experience from blogging on my own blog. When blogging here, I have to be constantly mindful of the 6Cs whereas when blogging on my personal blog, there is no need to place so much emphasis on the 6Cs. However, this does not mean that I do not consider the 6Cs at all. There is still effort placed on ensuring that the 6Cs are put into as much practice as possible. In conclusion, this blogging experience has not only made me more knowledgeable about current affairs, but it has also helped to improve my basic English through broadening my vocabulary and comprehending more profound phrases. -SASHA
